Prices start at $2,000, and are based primarily upon number of subjects. Size, complexity of background and medium all play a part in making her fine art available for your budget needs. Procedure

The portrait begins with the "sitting", in which the subject and the artist meet at the place of the client's choosing.  This is usually at the client's home or business, but can also take place at Jennifer's studio as well. Jennifer's travel expenses are usually included in the price of the portrait. 

  Jennifer begins by discussing with her client their expectations and ideas about their portrait, deciding about clothing styles, where the portrait will hang, size, etc. Using her camera to record numerous observations about her subject, she then returns to her studio to draw up her vision for the painting in the form of a sketch, based on her many observations, thumbnail sketches, and time spent with her subjects. Once the sketch is approved, Jennifer then proceeds to paint the painting at her studio. This process takes anywhere from three months to a year, depending on the size and number of subjects involved, and the complexity of the painting. A "head and shoulders" may take only a month to complete, whereas a complicated composition involving five subjects may take over a year to complete. Once the painting is completed, it is shipped to the client by means of a specialized art shipper. The painting can also be hand delivered and unveiled by Jennifer if the client so desires.
